Include Verse on Prem in Domino installation by default

For many customers additional installation is a risk factor, VOP 4 Jars should be included in Domino and enabled by new Notes.ini.

I would love to have it enabled by default, but MailFiles should have FT indexes.

This would push all clients to have VOP running and loving IBM Notes/Domino.  #LetsMakeDominoGreatAgain

Maybe this should be seen as a long term goal.

At the moment it makes sense to have quarterly realeases of VoP as IBM left it behind and the lost time has to be regained.

But when VoP is "feature complete" at some point, the release schedule could be switched to yearly so that VoP could be packaged with Domino.

As stated below, Verse is released on a quarterly basis.  It's just a handful of files in one zip file.  Putting Verse into Domino which is released once per year will handicap how quickly we can innovate.

This one has been discussed a lot.  The issue here is that when we release VOP on a quarterly basis we can get a lot of functionality out quickly.  Think about how much VOP has changed in the last year and a half when there have been about 5 releases.  If we only release VOP as part of he yearly Domino release, we can't move as fast.  On the other hand, you make a good point about VOP perhaps being considered more of a first class citizen when it's packaged with Domino.  So, still sorting this one out ...Drew

With the deprecation of iNotes agree that at a minimum VOP should be included starting in V11.  Additionally, including in 10.0.x will put forth VOP being a reality and completely supported vs an optional add in.
