Please use a differenct database than names.nsf. Because names.nsf cannot be altered enough in security in order to be compliant for GDPR. In government environments, all external users are not allowed to see user-pictures. And there are some more resitrictions for NOT showing a user-picture. If you transfer the user-pictures into a seperated database, you are more free to set the desired security. In Sametime you can set the url for showing the pictures, that should do the trick. We already did that and created a photo.nsf for VOP, Sametime, iNotes, etc...
We are waiting for this over years now. It is not understandable why this is not possible via standard pubnanes. Pls give it to us we don’t want to setup an run sametime only to get business card with photo.
Use the sametime community UserInfoConfig.xml business card served by Sametime Proxy like iNotes is the correct way!
