Text from original message cannot be copied or edited while forwarding or replying (Android Verse Mobile) Merged

In the Verse mobile app on Android, it is not possible to select and copy or even edit text in the original message. This restriction makes it impossible to respond inline to questions asked and impossible to repeat the questions at the top and then respond to them. The only way to do it is to wait until you can get to your computer and respond using the Notes client. Inconsistent behavior across clients makes for a bad user experience.
