VOP (especially in PWA version) is very popular with customers, one of the aspects to improve is the delay of notifications and the way they are handled.
I just think you could improve on that by implementing push notfications. doesn't require much effort, but it would give another UX to the end user

making the product better UX side also means this.
The effort is minimal: but the UX is maximum
There should also be a method where the push notification can work when not fully authenticated ( application level password? ). Otherwise notifications can be missed if not logged in at the time.
The 5min polling is really very annoying. Maybe a first step is to make the polling interval configurable.
