Build at least feature parity with Notes Client when it comes to integration with HCL Connections

The current integration with HCL Connections from Verse is unfortunately less than optimal. Users who were used to the Connections plugins in the Notes Client are feeling duped by the fact that they have less integration from Verse than they had from the Notes Client. However, as the plugins for that haven't seen any improvements either in years and have been steadily discontinued or not updated (there isn't even an Activities Plus plugin), telling them to use the client isn't an option either.

  1. When wanting to store attachments from mail to HCL Connections I can only store them in my personal files. I can't store directly to a community. This was possible in the Notes client and is crucial for organizations that promote the storing of files in Communities for compliance reasons

  2. When wanting to store attachments from mail to HCL Connections I have no choice as to what folder to store the file in, even in my personal files. Therefore I need to store the file, then go into connections itself to move the file from there instead of doing it all in one move as is generally expected from file handling systems.

  3. When linking to files, I can't attach links to files in communities, only to files in personal files. This again leaves a massive amount of files unsharable through mail.

  4. When creating an Activity in Activities Plus, I can only create a card holding the title and content but attachments are never included. Apparently this isn't possible because there is no file handling API(?). This means that I can't store the most crucial thing in most mails to an activity: The attachments and renders the option more or less useless in many cases.

As said, I'm not asking for new features here, just the options users had already so that they don't feel that going to Verse is a worsening situation from a collaboration point of view.
