One Notification for One Email

The HCL Verse app on Android gives 5 notifications when an email comes in. This is because all five parts of Verse make a sound and show their notification badges for an email coming in or when a calendar notification is triggered. This sounds and looks terrible and makes the brand look bad.

Pleaase find a way to only show and sound the notifications for the relevant part of verse that needs the notification.

    Hello, this was over a year ago. You can reference HCL support case number CS0314329, which led to this idea being posted. When I was on Android 8.1 with whatever verse android app was current at that time, it was definitely the case. I have a new phone now with Android 11. Now, I still have notifications badges on every app when an email comes in. But there is one sound and one on-screen notification. - Ben

    Hello,

    I know for me on android for 1 E-amil, I only get 1 Notification, 1 Sound but I have a Notification Badge for each app icon "Verse", "Mail" Calendar", "People", & "To Do" which are mis-leading/frustrating notification badges (see attachment)

    Please can you confirm that this is causing 5 NOTIFICATIONS and 5 SOUNDS for each email or is it just causing badges to appear on each of the app icons?
