Add emoticons on Notes Client mail creation

The user can personalize his mails by adding emoticons. Currently, typing ":)" or any emoticon text will not convert it to an emoticon.

kill old hanging Notes processes during starting up

HCL Notes not always shutting up properly and some processes stay executing. And when you try to start Notes again it leads to odd consequencies. It would be great the Notes kill old related to it processes while starting up.

Drag & Drop attachment from email direct to any web application.

Notes client, dragging attachment direct from email to any web application (example cloud) or directly to Skype doesn't work. Attachment uploads to web application as 0 bytes!

ACL groups shouldn't be seen during addressing emails.

When addressing email, users are confused when there are groups which cannot be choosen. ACL groups should not be seen at all when creating emails or groups in contacts.

Ability to convert one email to .eml and import it to Notes client

We request one standard tool on Domino/Notes which ability to convert one email with .mbox extension to .eml and this message can be imported to Notes client mail file.

Right click email address to add to contacts

Right now, you can add a sender to contacts by right clicking on the email in your inbox and selecting "Add sender to contacts..." or via the "More" drop down list. However, it seems like the most obvious and in-context place you'd want to do this...

As of now Lotus Notes support password based authentication where as now customers requesting for biometric based authentication hence need support for the same.

I would like to see a pop-up function after pressing delete on folders to avoid fast and unwanted deletions. Maybe something like "Do you really want to delete Folder XY?" Yes / No

Clean-up recent contacts if not used for X days

When you use the 'Recent Contacts' feature, they keep pilling up forever. So you may have 'recent' contacts which you haven't been mailing with since 2 years. It would be nice to have a feature saying 'if recent contact not used in at least x ...
