Free Licence for HomeUse / Freelancer

Microsoft offer Professional-licence-Version and free License for developers (VisualStudio Community or VS Code vs VisualStudio Enterprise / professional).

Sophos offert a Firewall-Software with Professional Version and a free HomeUse-Licence (Ex. UMT9 max 50 IP-Adresse).

i think a comparable offer by HCL will be

  • enhanced the community or

  • more developer as freelancer can use the Domino-Plattform.

  • strengthens usage Domino

Advantage User/Developer

  1. Person who use Notes at work, can use it also at home (and not Microsoft-Products at home with the danger that they change in a near feture from domino to microsoft)

  2. Freelancer can check over the rapid application development with hcl-solution (Domino, Leap,...)

Advantage to HCL

  1. More Application for HCL-Customer

  2. more HCL income, if small business start with a free licence Version (maybe with a Limit of 25 Client/Server) and if they grow a change to the normal Licencing / pricing
