Refresh Computed Subforms Dynamically Without Closing the Document

Currently, Computed Subforms only update when a document is opened. Changing a controlling field or screen size requires closing and reopening the document.

I propose enabling Computed Subforms to refresh dynamically when a document is refreshed — without closing it.

Use Cases:

  • Display Subforms based on a field value that may change while editing

  • Adapt UI dynamically to screen size or window resizing (e.g., tablet rotation or desktop window resize)

Benefits:

  • Smoother user experience without closing documents

  • Enables responsive and modern Notes applications

  • Reduces design complexity
