Richtext Field:Can't input richtext field(Body) getting X in body field on Windows 10 client.

We have many disucussion DB, which use body fieled as richtext (OS style setting).

We can use these DB under Windows 7 & IE11 with enterprise mode and IE7 compatible mode.

But on IE 11 on Windows 10,we can't input body field getting X status.

This problem occurs when in new document is opened in new window by compatible mode view window action.

In enterprise mode + IE7 compatible mode which is enforced AD policies, it works as expected.

IE11 on Windows 10 open new window IE11 native mode even if we set IE IE7 compatible mode.

Please provide richtext editor which work on IE11 native mode.

IBM/HCL don't support IE11 enterprise mode on Domino 9/10 officially, then IBM/HCL should provide new CKEditor for classical richtext field.

 

This issue is very critical ! , because many users have too many classical discussion DBs in their company and these DBs will not work as expected under Windows 10 environment.

xPages disucussion template will not be a solution for this problem, because Japanese discussion db (bulletin board)  are customized in many companies.

 

Workaround : change browser.cnf in Domino data folder, delete "Windows NT". 

 

 

This issue is very critical.

    IBM support can't provide solutions.

    Please provide CKEditor for classic body field as soon as possible like a X-Pages richtext editor.

    This issue will be critical for Domino casic Web application users.
