I'd like to see a rock solid, elevated and robust REST programming feature as part of the programming features in Domino Designer. It should be easy to create a REST API for custom nsfs. Something like the older WebServices, but more like the OpenAPI specification focussing also on documentation.
Having generators for Java and LotusScript, JavaScript etc. would be great. This would give Domino back the power it had as an application development and integration platform.
Currently building native REST interfaces without too much restrictions in Domino is hard.
Not everyone wants to use node.js. This is cumbersome and redundant.
Restful web services could be done easily with the new node.js paradigm.
