Cannot specify image resource in formula language

An image resource can be specified in the outline entry.
Image resources other than the current database can also be selected.
However, when selecting an image resource using the formula language, only the image resource of the current database can be specified.

I want to be able to specify the database name dynamically using the formula language (@ button).

#The design element can specify another database in the formula language.

This functionality should be extended to LotusScript and JAVA as well.

Agree, since we are able to select resources in a different database manually then the same functionality should also be available when using computed formula.

Integrated elemets have the same feature. you can choose an external database (alas only in alphabetical order), but you cannot indicate the external database in a formula. In a frame, you can choose an external database as a formula. It really would be worht a lot to developpers to be able to extend the reach of their applications this way.

Furthermore, opening this possibility for image ressources (action button, etc, would enable to customise applicaitons via 'skins' : this will be abolutely necessary when an app runs on Windows, and iPhone for example.

And as the information of the database is already stored in the elements, it seems like this should be possible without much fuss ?
