View "show categories only". Detail rows would not be visible

I think that HCL should spend a lot of time improving the functionality of views.  One of the advantages that views have over spread sheets is the ability to categorize multiple levels of documents.  Categories are very useful but could be even more so.

In many cases, the reason for categorizing documents is to avoid the detail.  Having the option of designing views that only show categories would be useful in these circumstances.

A guest mentioned @Command([ViewShowOnlyCategories]) in a view button.  I had forgotten about that function.

Thank you for the reminder!  That will work for me in many circumstances.

I'm not sure that I understand your question. What would a user do with ANY view that had no content? An empty view is an empty view.

Lets say you have the ability to display categories only - what would a user do with it if there is no content in this view?
