Enhance buttons in Notes Client to accept multi-stage images or allow a transparent background

This would allow us to use buttons to replace image/hotspot combinations when designing UX. The image/hotspot method is time consuming to build and manage. Having a button would make it easier to replace table tabs with a more contemporary look.

    enabling computable name of other database where the image is stored (right now you choose when creating the button and cannot change it later) would enable much more flexibility in designing UI, like skins, specific departmental or customer versions, versions for iphone /ipad which may require different images, etc).

    If the CSS will style the buttons then that would work. I was thinking this would be an easier incremental step.

    There are other ideas suggesting to allow CSS in Notes forms. Would this also satisfy your request?
