notesUIWorkspace .EditDocument add option to specify form to use

LotusScript notesUIWorkspace .EditDocument - add an option to specify which form to use when opening/editing the document.

A developer may not always want to use the default.

This will be useful for:

displaying a subset of information when a dialog is not appropriate and less complicated than multiple hidewhens / subforms

displaying print friendly forms

overriding form formulas in views

re: "How about the opposite then: changing the form when you are editor?"

Not all users will have editor access. So if you want to display a different form for different circumstances you couldn't with this method. And even if you did the form would be "dirty" and you would be prompted for a save because a change has been made when the user has made no change.

Colleagues, if you open a document in the UI and the form contains a Form field with a different (not original) value, then when you save the document its form will change.

Hi, re "try changing the form field".

Not possible if you only have reader access.

Just an idea, but after you get the notesdocument, try changing the form field to the required form, and call ws.editsocument. Might work.
