It would be practical that if a numerical field has 0.00 as a default value, the 0 disapears once the field is entered, and the 0 is replaced if the field is left empty. This way, when inputting numbers, like in an accounting or invoicing system, we don't have to first erase the 0.00 to enter the right number and the field does not end up as text when saving the form. A way to be able to enter simple computation like : 1+34+66.54-34 which produces the end result upon leaving would come in handy.
