Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

It would be useful to be able to open an embedded view, or an outline, or other embedded design items from the form by either right-clicking and choosing 'open' or opening it up by double-clicking the embedded item.
clem

The idea would be to have a feature in the Designer that would make it easier for the Developer to open the embedded view or another embedded element from within the form or page, as is done with the subform within the form.

The developer of the application is responsible for the behaviour of the app. Just allowing embedded elements to be opened standalone does not mean that they are working fine. e.g. an embedded view might only display certain values from the form.
What you can do is to add a button or action hotspot that will do exactly what you have requested. Again, this is up for the developer to define.
