HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Add a deprecated tag to documentation for features that should not be used more / there only for backward compatibility

For a newcomer in Domino development, the documentation exposes all the "history" of Domino development.

Some of theses features are clearly no longer recommander to be used or can't be. For example NSFDB2. But when you read the documentation with the eye of a newbie, you can start digging in this interesting feature.

I would recommend tagging part of Documentation with a Deprecated flag, maybe with different level (must not / should not / may not)

I think it's also valid for Admin documentation

Agree. Also all these information regard "available since R5", or so. How cares?
