Change the column title with a function or formula Merged

We may create a view for each display language, but for views with a large view index size, we may not create a view for each language and just use one view. We want to change the column title to match the user's display language.

The user's display language can be determined by a function.

I would like to improve the ability to change the column title with a function or expression.

If memory servers, this has been asked for previously.

IMO the best solution would be to completely separate a view's UI from its index. I.e., not only allow for computed column titles, but also allow for two separate column formulae: One that computes the column value to be stored in the index, another that computes how that value is presented to the user (depending on a user's regional settings).
