I don't know sap connect and the application you are using. However, it is possible that the application could be re-engineered to have the server connect to sap while the clients use the methods to ask the server (agent.runonserver) to run. The same solution has been adopted for another lsx which allows the odbc dialogue.
Hello,Thomas, It also affects end users using Nomad Android when open application dbs which Uselsx "*lsxodbc", and pop-up error message: Error loading USE or USELSX module:"*lsxodbc" when open these application dbs from Nomad Android, so pls consider to add the support for this feature, thanks!
Thanks, Thomas, that makes sense.
This idea was for Nomad iOS which is packaged by HCL. You can not inject any other library into the iOS package as it is only provided as a signed app from the AppStore.
Thomas, isn't it possible for a web assembly DLL to call another DLL? Granted, it might not be possible to simply call an existing LSX, but wouldn't it be possible to call an LSX which had also been compiled with web assembly, but was not part of Nomad? That would seem a far more general and useful solution than individually adding code for any LSX to Nomad, and it would allow third party extensions.
A generic solution can not be provided because any 3rd party DLL file would have to be part of the Nomad (Mobile) application at build time. If you are explicitly asking for including the SAP connector libraries, then please submit a new idea that describes exactly this use case.
