Support Apple "Share" Icon So that We can Potentially Print Documents

We need the ability to print documents when using Domino Mobile Apps on the iPad.  It appears that some Apple apps allow printing via the share icon; web pages, emails etc.  HP AirPrint seems to work that way for example.

I'm assuming that if the Share icon were supported on DMA we could marry that with an app that would allow us to print documents; perhaps we could even find an app that would allow us to print to PDF.

If there is some other method by which we can print documents from DMA, please let me know about it.

I see the status of this request has been changed to "Assessment". What exactly does a status of "Assessment" mean?

We are just launching a DMA program on our farms and have shelled out £20k for new printers with airprint. It is only at this point of launch the the programmers have realised they can not add a print button.  We are working on a fix where by on replication with the server an agent creates and HTML copy of the document and emails it as an attachment back to the iPad.  a backward way of doing it, but we can not come up with another way! Equaally we can not embed it in the email as you can not print from Verse either!!

As an update to this idea, I have since learned that a pdf can be created on an iPad using the "Print" option.  The PDF can be created without the need for any third party app - creating a pdf this way is a default function of the iPad.

The "Print" function is accessible through the Share icon.  So, if HCL would support the share icon, we would be able to create (and mail) pdfs, without the need for a third party app.

The way we see it, the ability to create and email a Notes document as a pdf is a fundamental requirement of any document management application.
