I think we agree that the ability for a User to reset their password is absolutely required.
But, I'm confused about the status of that function.
My Idea is categorised as "Future Consideration"
According to the Github disclaimer in the attached link, the solution suggested by Thomas is not supported by HCL.
The 2nd link states that "A Domino® server comes with the Sample Web Agent - Reset User Password application (PwdResetSample.nsf)". This suggests that the function is supported now.
Clarification would be appreciated.
We are just about to start testing the approach outlined in Thomas's entry. Does the change of Status to "Future consideration" suggest that we should wait for a future development byHCL?

You can set up the self service password reset app, a sample application is provided with Domino.
