Request to Restrict HCL Nomad App Configuration to Authorized Devices Only.

Currently, any user can download the HCL Nomad app from the Play Store or App Store and set it up by copying their Notes ID file. This means users can configure the app on any device without any control from administrators.

Customer Requirement:

The customer wants more control over where the Nomad app can be configured. Specifically:

  • Only selected users should be allowed to configure and use the Nomad app.

  • Even for those users, setup should be allowed only on authorized devices (for example, company-managed phones or tablets).

  • If the same user tries to configure Nomad on a personal or unauthorized device, it should be blocked.
