HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Start a Notes-DB directly from the iOS desktop (Notes-DB = iOS App)

for the normal iPad user every Notes-DB should be an APP, starting directly

(instead of starting the HCL app, and then starting the database icon)

on windows systems you can

a) start notes.exe and with command line options define the database

b) use a url like notes://mydatabase.nsf

That can already done. You can deploy a Configuration Profile with a  Webclip payload, which will add one or more app icons with a link containing the Notes URL  for the needed Notes apps to the  home screen.
When the user clicks on that home screen icon Nomad will be triggered and the Notes app will be opened within Nomad.
That should work with every Mobile Device Management solution or you can create the configuration profile manually using the free Apple Configurator and install the mobile.config file manually on the device.
