Server-Based email encryption

We have to use IQ-Suite in order to send server-based encrypted mail to third party smtp servers.

It would be great to have that out-of-the-box in Domino.

Although I do agree that a built-in B2B mail encryption solution would be great, it is unlikely to be implemented soon. Business partner solutions are available

There is already support for S/MIME built into Notes/Domino, but is is quite clunky, as users need to take care of their own S/MIME certificates (if globally trusted S/MIME certificates need to be used).

So what you're requesting is a more seamless S/MIME integration that the current one, where distribution of S/MIME certificates to Notes clients is managed.

And if that feature was available, you would be facing the problem that encrypted e-mails cannot be checked for malicious content (and data loss protection) anymore.

Using an S/MIME encryption gateway seems to be more suitable for a majority of businesses.
