I can see only one reason to want to do this:
You have a VIP at your company. He has a workstation at home which his kids use for games, a laptop he uses "all the time" (meaning it sits in the bag), and his work laptop on his desk that his secretary sometimes uses when at his desk, but otherwise does his work for him from her desk. Anyway, he goes on vacation and actually decides to take that laptop, charges the dead battery, and starts Notes. Having not actually run Notes in much greater than 90 days, all that old dead mail that was long deleted, comes flooding back into his mail file on the server. Looks like his secretary messed up, or IT was messing in his mail file again, or that <bleep> Notes "bug" came back again.
Even though this person always had a mail file hitting 64 GB, or since R10, 253 GB, and we'd love to do anything to eak out even another 10 MB of space for the guy, we increased his replication purge much higher than than default to protect ourselves from his annual or bi-annual use of his laptop while on his 3 to 6 week working vacations.
Why would you want to do that ?
There's an ACL option to allow/deny "Replicate or copy documents".
