This is already a feature. You can use a F5 or an Apache reverse proxy as an example. If you are having trouble with this, open a case with support or create post in the Community forum.
There were some specific issues around Verse clusters, if you were asking about Verse. We recently shipped a new version to overcome those issues. Hello Thomas, we have an open case with HCL -> CS0139733, where they are saying this is not supported. So we had to raise this enhancement request.
