Enhance SAML authentication feature to support Domino cluster servers via load balancer

Current SAML authentication mechanism does not support applications hosting on Domino cluster servers and accessed using load balancer setup. In today's world it is very common to design cluster servers to achieve DR or contingency requirements.

But the SAML authentication feature does not support Domino cluster servers via a load balancer setup.

I think this most needed enhancement in this feature.

Thank you !!

This is already a feature. You can use a F5 or an Apache reverse proxy as an example. If you are having trouble with this, open a case with support or create post in the Community forum.

There were some specific issues around Verse clusters, if you were asking about Verse. We recently shipped a new version to overcome those issues. An article on how to configure Verse with Apache Reverse Proxy has just been published: https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0080495

There is also a new whitepaper on how to use a F5 proxy in front of a Verse cluster for HA. https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0084455

If you are having trouble, I recommend opening up a case with support or posting to the Domino Community forum.

Hello Thomas, we have an open case with HCL -> CS0139733, where they are saying this is not supported. So we had to raise this enhancement request.

That already exists! Both servers need to serve the same internet site and so would be able to participate in the same SAML config.
