Sending anonymous mail where sender is unknown

I understand that sending anonymous mail where sender is unknown could be a security concern. However there might be situations where this could be required. A customer wanted to send such anonymous mail for some legitimate reasons. Can we have such feature in Domino ?

The only legitimate reason for anonymous mail I can see is a voting system.

I didn't test that for many years. But in former versions one could add "$Anonymous" to the mail document and post the document directly in mail.box (without using Document.send()). Maybe that still works.

I dont see a reason why this should be implemented.

What would be a legitimate reason for sending a mail that does not show the sender's name? A groupmailbox? Preventing automated reply (use the 'reply to' setting)?, Spaming (no, we wont support Domino being used for that purpose)?
