HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Duplicated mails are journaled when using "send copy to" mail rule.

I am using "send copy to" mail rule in my mail database.

And Mail journal function is set on Domino server.

At this time, the original email and the forwarded email will be saved in the journal.

Two identical emails are saved in the journal.

I want a function that does not journal messages transferred by rules.

Why not? For audit purposes you need to proof that the email was forwarded by a policy. Although the mail body has the same content, it technically is a different message and can have a different recipient list.
