HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Capability to limit the number of logon sessions per http user

Capability to limit the number of logon sessions per http user. If Domino was able to provide the ability to configure the number of logon sessions that are allowed per http user, it would allow Domino to host sites/applicationsmore securely, limiting the risks related to DoS attacks. Currently, an individual user account could have any number concurrent/simultaneous user logon sessions (only limited by number of total sessions allowed on the server/site).

With exactly one vote the demand for this feature is rather low, so we are not considering it for now. However, the idea is good and we'll consider it when there is enough demand.
