Rule or Policy or capability to restrict all users of delete privilege in Archiving Server

A customer wanted to restrict their users from deleting documents from their secondary/Archiving server.


The scenario is that they have a primary server and an archiving server. Both servers have replicas of the mailfiles. However, they wanted to restrict users from deleting any documents from the Archiving server. They have tried removing the delete privilege in ACL but it keeps getting enabled when replication happened from primary to the archiving server.

    Suggesting to run an agent on a regular basis to check for the ACL flag to be removed, e.g. loop through all files in the archive folder, check all ACL entries that are of type person, if flag is set, remove + save ACL.
