HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Virtual host document & Cipher

The virtual host document does not apply to SSL connections, Virtual host documents can only be matched on non-TLS connections (HTTP only), so any cipher list configured for a virtual host is not used for the tls handshake, only virtual servers docs are used when doing a tls connection to get the ciphers for the tls handshake, this happens before the http request is read and the hostname is available to us, any cipher configured in a virtual host doc is not used/ignored.

If the ciphers are ignored in the virtual host document then there should be no button to modify the ciphers.

Why are you using virtual host definitions instead of internet sites?
