Auto shutdown of Domino server when OS reboots

Currently, a Windows reboot will essentially crash the Domino server. Integrate the Domino service in some way so that it is aware of a pending reboot and does a graceful shutdown. This can be accomplished via a shutdown script to stop the Domino service, but if Domino takes too long to shutdown, Windows will not wait becuase this is not integration, it is a work around at best

    We are aware of the ability to increase shutdown time, but since Domino does not sense the reboot request and begin to shutdown automatically, the timeout is useless, you can set it to forever and Domino will not shutdown gracefully.

    This is not a problem of Domino. The timeout for a service to stop gracefully can be configured in the Windows registry. Here is an example:
