Ability to gather calendar information using Forwarding address when Calendar Domain field is populated

On a coexistance environment(O365 and Domino), we have set the person document Mail syste to "other internet mail", Internet Address, Forwarding Address, Mail Domain, Miscellaneous > Calendar Domain is populated.

When searching for calendar freebusy information of a user that is on O365, we can search using Internet Address and Canonical Name with @Domain included withut any issue.

However, when using forwarding address, the freebusy information was not returned. Having the ability of freebusy to also search the person document forwarding address as well to get the calendar domain information.

Forwarding does apply to mail. The availability of the user still is defined by its own resource. It is designed like this on purpose because (e.g.) you might forward your mails to someone else while you are on vacation/out of office. Your availability is not the same as the availability of the person you are forwarding to.

Closing this idea as no plans to implement. Please continue to vote for it if you think this needs to be revisited.

Remark: Please note that Domino 12.0.2 will provide free/busy lookup to o365 natively.
