to remove all documents from an nSF incl profile documents nowadays involve the assistance of admins and developers. an option to admin client would be of great help.

Dont delete all documents - it just gives overhead in form of deletion stubs etc. Delete the database instead - and re-create from the template.

Isn't this already possible using the methods outlined in  How to purge document deletion stubs immediately - IBM

you could provide the option for the admin client? it's not a feature for end-users.

Within applications profile documents and sometimes even normal documents are required for the application to function properly. Providing a function to clear everything might be dangerous, so I think it should be up to the application developer to provide this function. e.g. reset a survey database.

a typical situation would be start collecting data. most simple use case is log files. but also application that run for a limited amout of time (survey, polls). cleaning old data can be a use case.
