Compact command that allows me to change the order in which files are processed.

I would like to add an option to the compact command that allows me to change the order in which files are processed.


By default, files are processed in alphabetical order by filename, but I would like to be able to process them in descending alphabetical order.


If the files are processed in descending order of file name, it will be possible to avoid the processing time slots of other tasks.

    I am using the standalone compact task.

    However, it looks like the -blacklist <xxx>.ind option in the dbmt task will do what I want.

    Are you using compact in DBMT or the standalone compact task?

    If it is possible to process the files in descending order by file name, there will be no overlap with the processing times of other tasks.

    There are multiple tasks, and the current settings work best for their execution times.

    I have considered that, but there are so many Domino Databases (over 200) that it is difficult to configure.

    How about using an indirect file (*.ind) ?
