User should be prompted to change password in iNotes when user password is reset from ID Vault

There's an environment where Notes password synchronization with HTTP or internet password is enabled. User IDs are uploaded to ID Vault.


The requirement here is that whenever an ID Vault administrator resets user password in ID vault, if user logs-in to iNotes, user should be prompted to change password.


As per current product design, the user is prompted to change password only in HCL Notes after an administrator resets password in ID Vault.

    While we have no plans to fix this for iNotes, as this also occurs in Verse, we will continue to assess the requirement and it would be considered to be part of a future release. HCL product management team strives to give updates, here in the ideas portal to provide updates on ideas when substantial information is available.

    Notes and HTTP password are two different passwords on purpose. Instead of changing iNotes, we‘d like to get rid of the HTTP password completely in favour of SingleSingOn
