Universal Inbox ( it's all in the name )

During Engage we discussed a new way to let users know when a new communication ( mail, chat, connections, etc. ) is available for them.

Why not create an Universal Inbox ( like the Activity Stream in Connections ) in Domino which receives all information from you network ( mail, chat, etc. )

Today are chat and mail common ways to communicate with each other and if you look at the content......it's more alike then before. What's the difference between mail and chat? What you can do in a chat. And could we combine them into one Inbox? And can we enrich that Inbox with other applications?

It doesn't matter where the information is coming from, it's information for the user.
