HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Take a single Database offline

There should be a possiblity to take a single database offline and e.g. do some maintenance work on it, like compact -c.
For active users which have an open database all the time, there is nearly no possibility to do a compact -c, so you have to put the whole Domino server offline because of this single database.
I know you can drop a user from his database, but this is not always possible because he can access it with different protocols like IMAP, HTTP or NRPC. So it's some really diffcult to drop the user!
