I am a bit puzzled by this since usually I heard the opposite (group should not be accessible from outside and restricted internally). As I pointed out in other ideas related to group restriction, we can do this right now, but we don't have an easy user interface to do so. You would need to manually select the readers for each group documents that you wanted to restrict (and it might not be possible to do so in SCN unless you are running hybrid cloud).
Maybe we should consolidate these ideas under something like "User interface to control who can sent email to this group"
