Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

ability to enable database "Per document" audit

Domino 10 has deletion logging feature,

it would be great to enable per database  logging, so we can see which documents has been CREATED/EDITED/OPENED/DELETED. (Deleted already implemented with Deletion logging feature)

for example for Domino Directory it may look like this:

Vlaad has opened document "Server Document A"

Vlaad has edited document "Server Document B".

Vlaad has Edited Person Record "John Doe/ACME"

Vlad has Opened person Record "Mary Popins/ACME"

Documenting auditing is needed in order to compete with other platforms and meet compliance requirements.  Additionally, an email message being moved to a folder should be an auditable event.
