Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Delete Group Members Using The Administration Process

By now, there is no administration process to remove a user from a group. A user is only removed from (a) group(s) if you delete the user itself from the Domino Directory.

So you have to do it manually. This makes it impossible to delegate this task to users that do not have EDITOR access to the DD.

I have coded an enhancement to the adminp years ago, which worked for us. See: https://www.eknori.de/2007-12-15/delete-group-members-using-the-administration-process/

Although you can create your own administration processes, I would like to see the "remove user from group(s)" process as part of the core adminp.

"This makes it impossible to delegate this task to users that do not have EDITOR access to the DD"  I don't think this is true.  You can make a group or an individual an administrator on a group document (ie in the Administration -> Administrators section) to give someone direct editing capabilities without also giving them Editor access or the [Group Modifier] role.
