Return receipt is being sent out even if the mail is only viewed in the preview pane. Please add option that RR will not be sent if only viewed in preview pane. Thank you.
The notes.ini parameter is for IBM iNotes only. If it was possible for the IBM Notes client to use notes.ini or by setting mailbox preferences, it would be super.
The administrator could set the display of the decision dialog by default, and the user could eventually change to always send or never send.
Of I am remember correctly there is a ini setting for iNotes and the template modification does not work when previewing a mail.
Need a policy where the user can choose when activate a return receipt.
actually if you enable the only one policy for the user is activate the pop-up dialog but also in sending and you cannot change.
your solution is a customize of mail template.
we need a native solution
According to RFC 2298 http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2298.txt it is recommended to show a dialog box where the recipient of a mail can decide weather or not a return receipt shall be sent back to the originator of the mail. This behavior was not currently part of the Standard IBM Mail template, so the following modification should be done:
