Allow Formula for Archive Selection

today I had the request of a CEO of one of my customers: He wants to archive mails older than 6 months, but keep the calendar entries for one year. I often get requests like that. At the moment I would have to:

- Create a new template, that has a view "all except Calendar entries"

- Assign that template to all users that want these settings

- Create an Archive Criteria Settings document, that only archives that view

- Create another Archive Criteria Setting document, that archives view Calendar

- Assign both criteria to a policy

I would love to have an @Formula to define the documents that should be archived ==> no need to create specific views / templates

Use a script to automate the creation of the necessary documents: Instead of manually creating the template, view, and Archive Criteria Setting documents, you could use a script to automate this process. This would allow you to create the necessary documents with a single command, rather than having to manually create each one.

Consider using a policy-based approach: Instead of creating separate Archive Criteria Setting documents for different views, you could create a single policy that includes both the "all except Calendar entries" view and the Calendar view. This would allow you to apply the same duck life policy to all users, rather than having to create and assign separate documents for each user.

Use a central mail file: If you are using a central mail file to store all emails, you could create a single policy that applies to the entire mail file. This would allow you to set up the necessary archive criteria in one place, rather than having to create separate documents for each user.
