V11 is not what we need. We need to take lotus to 2020.
We need sometrhing like Volt but volt is very light, we cant implement very complex applications in volt.

all my customers were very disappointed with Client Notes version 11.0.1.
Everyone says "the bodywork has changed but the engine is the same".
I hope the "Likely to implement" was not referring to 11.0.1 release

i have install the new lotus notes 11. it does not look good. it is same as before

Can you disconnect Notes client from Administrator and Designer. Now when client hangs-up you have to restart all and you loose you work in Designer

V11 beta have some little and partial improve look and feel!

Display scaling is a big deal for us too with the notes client. Now that laptops are coming with 4k displays but some users desktops have 1080. The current client looks fuzzy when brought up to 2 or 300% scaling.

Please make the client look more modern and fit in with windows 10's design language. Also 64 bit for both client and designer please.

Upgrading Notes client to 9.0.1 FP10 is a pain. First of all installation file s and FP10 is huge and bulky and installation many times end up in issue. Also in may PC's after upgrade users are getting soffice errors.

ISG Team recommending to remove all 32 Bit application from Production environment, provide 64 bit application urgently for deployment.

Example: Delete Workspace to solve lots of problems..
Or: Restoring folders with its content?
Or: Make folders copy&paste for shared mailbox-user..

Don't forget to streamline the menus. Keep same things at the same place (e.g. there are lots of items where a search can be done).
A designer should watch people using notes in their everyday life and optimise the client. This should not be done by a tecnician.
As is already said: not the administrator makes the decision to use notes and domino. It's the management and (maybe) the end user. They must get a great 'user experience' to vote for a product. And this is the point where notes has a great potential.

Notes have only a future, if the existing notes frontend gets an dramatical face lifting.

And upgrade database and toolbar icons to scalable vector graphic. Current bitmaps is very tiny on a 4K monitor.
and dont forget the basic client. It performs a lot better than the standard Eclipse client (I recommend all customers to use the basic client)
