Ability to import *.ics file when file name contains non ASCII character like ' é '

Cannot import *.ics file when file name contains non ASCII character like ' é ' The following error message comes up:.
'Notes cannot process your file. This URL is not associated with a valid iCalendar feed'       
                                                 
When the name contains non ASCII characters the issue occurs. If you remove this character renaming the file the import should be possible.

    Outlook and Gmail accept the calendar invite without an issue. Please fix so there can be one less reason to switch to Outlook. Thanks

    If the file name is acceptable to the Operating System it should be acceptable for import
