Is there going to be any update on this? I can't really see the issue "needs clarification". It's quite simple - bring back the delete action in the action bar for single emails. Not only does the new hover-only involve a short delay but the hover-over delete is on the wrong part of the screen for processing a lot of mails (one at a time obviously).
Yes, bring those buttons back. Our User will not like this, we already got complaints from our 'friendly' users.
Please Please Please bring back the delete button before I throw my laptop out the window - how these new 'feaures' get past quality control is beyond me!
If you open an email in v11 the delete buttion is wheer it should be, in the action bar at the top of the message.
The change has introduced an other UI inconsistancy in the client.
At the very least, please give us the opportunity to easily restore the action bar in the view
This implementation is awful - was enough to send me back to V10. Bring back the delete button!!!!
The icons shown only appear after you have clicked to focus on the row then hover, rather than when you hover on any row as in Verse or other systems .
They do appear at the top as they do in other versions but only when you have more than one emails selected.
Both the two situations means that you can no longer quickly run through emails clicking the delete button.
Can you please provide a screenshot ?
Hmm, I tried to do that with the Delete icon but failed, I'll have another go.
yes, please.
My workaround: modified standard mail template to include the needed buttons (move to folder and read/unread actions).
Note: There are still some key board users on the planet (on contrast to mouse users). For them a possible workaround would be a keyboard short cut to access the (hidden) hover actions.
