HCL, where is the problem? You can make it configurable per notes.ini setting.
Or maybe there is a undocumentet setting for that?!?
Still in v12.0.1FP1 no persistent opened "follow-up" list. "Old 9 view" will be alive next years... :(
I was hoping that it might be possible in v12.0.1, but unfortunately there is no option to be found there either.

Weneed this! Else our user will not leave "old" Terminal/Notes9 view with always opened Miniview plugin
It would be very helpful to have an option here to set whether the mini view should be open or closed.
Many of our users use the resubmissions or a special tool from GedysIntraware called Businessmail for our CRM, which now has to be opened again every day.
If you have a lot of folders that are open by default, you have to close them to get to the "Show Mini View" button.
This is annoying for our staff and also for me.
The same applies to the category "View", "Folders" and "Show more...".
Instead of having an option for this, the client could remember the setting on exit and restore it that way. This exists in many other places as well.
Why didn't you include this right away? It was clear that these requests would come.
It would be important also for me.
Please, before to change the past usability into a newer template think twice!!!
I agree: A view should be persistent if I selected it.
A follow-up is a ToDo and not a comment which should be viewed sometimes
