Ability to HIDE the Search Bar in Notes Standard client

The search bar in Notes causes the tabs to be offset down on the screen and there is much unused space. Consequently, users with smaller screens wanting to regain space to actually work would like to hide that search bar and the whole horizontal blue section above the tabs to reclaim that space on their screen.


Current workaround is to use Notes basic mode.

The ability to HIDE the search bar in Notes standard client should be considered in future releases.

    Good idea, Notes applications and mail files already have a search bar that can be programmatically triggered with @Command ([ViewShowSearchBar]) or the Notes client menu: View> Search this view. The Notes client's fixed search bar is redundant and with COVID-19, many people work in the home office with smaller notebook screens. It would be great to be able to hide the entire area where the search bar is located to make better use of that space.
