Save Notes Client federated login settings between different computers

If a user have Notes Federated login enabled, user enter Notes password at first login and Federation is then enabled. If user then logs in to another computer, this happens again. User need to enter password again to enable Federated login at this computer. Make it possible to save these settings between different computers.

I beleive that you talk about Shared login now . Maybe its unclear but I am talking about SAML-based federation in Notes client.

My experience says that the settings for SAML-based federation is saved in notes.ini and local names.nsf in users profile in Windows. If I copy these files to a new computer I will get Federation even on the new computer. But its not optimal to save these settings in this way, users experience is not SSO. I would like these settings to be saved on server.

That is by design. Federation is bound to the current user ID >and< the current computer ID (not just the name). So the PW prompt will show up again because the other computer is cryptographically not the same machine as it has a different machineID. To re-establish a trust relationship between the NotesID and the computer, a user is prompted for the password again.
